Ice Snowman Experiment

Yesterday we did an experiment using water and ice. We discussed waters freezing point and estimated how long it would take our snowman to melt. Check out the series of pictures below:

We passed around the frozen water balloon for everyone to feel.

 Then we took the balloons off and stacked our snowman.

 Throughout the day our snowman began to melt.

 It took 9 hours to melt!
